Environment warden surgeries

Drop in to share local concerns

People can share their concerns about issues such as litter, fly-tipping and dog fouling at a series of surgeries in September.

There are three surgery sessions coming up in September where officers from the council’s environment warden team will be on hand to speak to local people about environment issues in the area.

Cllr David Simmons, cabinet member for environment and rural affairs at the council, said:

"We rely on local people letting us know about any issues in their area so we can take action

"People can easily report problems to us online or by phone, but we think it’s important to make sure we’re still getting out into the community to speak to people in person.

"This gives us a chance to gather as much information as possible about issues, and helps us explain what we can do to help."
